Initiatives fire up and they die, projects and programmes are implemented and right in front of your eyes they just simply fizzle out and become insignificant. Money is wasted, dreams are shattered and credibility is at risk.
So why then does this happen, more frequent than not? Well, in essence, lack of focused and quality collaboration between the funder and the service provider is often the reason for failed initiatives, which has a ripple effect and impacts on the attitude of the beneficiaries of the initiative or programme.
